Latinos lead rally opposing ordinance
Two days after the Poconos community of Hazleton agreed to delay its crackdown on illegal immigrants, about 400 members of a statewide Latino coalition yesterday rallied there to voice their continued opposition to the city's efforts. Activists from throughout Pennsylvania’s Latino communities came together to develop an organization that would be an advocate voice and an organizing tool for Latinos in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
